The Lake County Land Trust Annual Dinner

Held at the beautiful Boatique Winery,

Another year has passed with its many accomplishments.  Our annual dinner is a time to celebrate it all!  Here are some pictures.

David Woodward, who, having already identified an astounding 184 species of birds at the Kuulanapo Preserve, has now branched out to dragonflies and butterflies, is here honored as the Lake County Land Trust's Supporter of the Year.  In this picture, from the left, is LCLT president Val Nixon, board member Robert Lyons, David Woodward and Congressman Mike Thompson presenting the award.

Val Nixon, Lake County Land Trust President, made the introductions.

Merry Jo Velasquez, Vice President, brought us up to date on all that is happening at the Kuulanapo Preserve.

And guest speaker Sharon Zoller, past president of the State of California's Women for Agriculture, spoke on California's Agriculture and Land Conservation efforts and the values they have in common.
