Join The Rookery Membership Club!!!

The Lake County Land Trust relies completely on donors to support our numerous projects and activities. The trust has developed The Rookery Membership Club to offer supporters the opportunity to contribute to the Land Trust at various levels.

Our donor/membership program focuses on asking for support twice a year with our Holiday and Spring appeals. If you donate to either appeal, you become a member of the Rookery Membership Club for one year. If you donate to the Holiday Appeal, and wish to increase your support to the Land Trust, you can do so by responding to the Spring Appeal as well. The same holds true for our Spring Appeal letter. If you become a member in the Spring and donate again for the Holiday Appeal, that will increase your membership level.

The Rookery Membership Club offers many fun opportunities to our Land Trust supporters. We appreciate the support we receive from all of our members. Donors in all categories help the Land Trust to continue the important work of preserving Lake County’s beautiful natural places. The Lake County Land Trust is a charitable nonprofit and your donations are tax deductible. Our federal Tax ID No. is 68-0332712.

The Lake County Land Trust welcomes volunteers!!!

The Lake County Land Trusts depends on many volunteers to help with a wide range of tasks including fundraising activities, property clean up, and office work.

Our volunteer opportunities include first and third Tuesdays of each month at the Rodman Slough Preserve Nature Center, called Volunteer Tuesdays. This is a wonderful opportunity to help. If you would like further information about this program and other volunteer opportunities, please call Executive Director, Catherine Koehler at (707) 262-0707. Or, to fill out a volunteer form click here.

Buy a Dedication Tile to support the Rodman Preserve
Your memorial, inscription or dedication can become part of a permanent display at the Rodman Nature Education Center.  Choose any of the 5 patterns of the 6" x 6" tiles that depict wildflowers from the fields of the Preserve and add your dedication  (up to 40 characters including spaces).

Your $500 dollar contribution per tile will provide funds to maintain the Preserve. Your tile can become an accent in the fireplace surround. Up to 50 of these tiles will be created by tile artist Barbara LeVasseur.  All proceeds from these tiles will be used at the Rodman Preserve.

Please call us at the Lake County Land Trust, (707) 262-0707, to pledge your donation. Tell us the lettering you'd like (up to 40 characters) and the design of the tile from the examples below.
