Let's
have a round of applause for Marie Beery. For the sixth time in
six years she is planning a wonderful four course dinner with
the proceeds going to the Lake County Land Trust. Artists from
Konocti Plein Air Painters (KPAP) and individual artists from
Lake County will again be donating their art to be sold at the
dinner.
In 2007, Meredith Gambrel won Best of Show with
her seascape painting and Carmen Patterson and Ruth Morgan tied
for second place. Ruth Morgan won the Peoples Choice Award
with a beautiful Robin painting. The winners are selected by the
artists and the Peoples Choice Award is selected by the those
attending the Annual Art and Nature Show at the Rodman Preserve
– to be held this year on Saturday, May 3.
